Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui, Inc. (BGCM), is a non-profit organization founded in 2000 operating drop-in service facilities providing a safe, supportive, non-judgmental, nurturing and supervised environment where youth ages 9 to 17 years old can be themselves, experience positive role models, and learn values and skills that promote success. BGCM’s mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

At BGCM, we focus on increasing graduation rates and improving academic success for each member. The club offers young people what they need and want most: adults who respect and listen to them; a safe environment where they can have fun and be themselves; and interesting, constructive activities that channel youthful energy into challenging pursuits. Success is within reach of every young person who walks through the doors of our clubs.

Our Lahaina Clubhouse has an active and engaged Keystone Club. Keystone Club is a national program that aims to provide leadership development opportunities for young people ages 14 to 18. Youth participate in activities in three focus areas: academic success, career preparation and community service. The Hale Lahaina Keystone club aims to have a positive impact on members, the Club and community.

The Hale Lahaina Keystone Club is now prepared to meet the Legacy level requirements and complete the Keystone project for the Lahaina clubhouse. The teens plan to complete a minimum of 600 service hours, develop strategies and initiatives for teen programming, host at least six teen outreach events, serve as mentors for the Club, and continue participating in community organizations.
